Tier III Support
Tier III support – TS/SCI – Ft Belvoir, VA
The right candidate for the job will have knowledge of RedHat 7 & 8 utilizing a PostgreSQL database. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with the Army supporting Legacy and NextGen applications. You will be the SME that people turn to when system issues that arise and the direct contact for our Government PMs providing top of the line customer service support. You will be responsible for tracking system performance and raising issues before they occur. Some knowledge of JAVA would be helpful to perform the initial analysis of issues. You will work with a team of Software Engineers to assist with high level issues.
Responsibilities:
-Track daily performance trends and raise issues when trends deviate
– Initiate proactive customer notifications
- Manage tickets via ITSM
– Adhere to service level standards for all customers
– Develop and nurture successful long-term relationships with clients
- Provide application support
– Provide deployment support - Work with Development teams to resolve customer issues
- Assist with patching and STIG’ing of the systems
- Attention to detail and professional communication skills are a must
Qualifications:
– 3 years Help Desk/ IT Support
– BS or BA degree OR commensurate work experience
– Flexible team player willing to provide on call support - Security + Certification
- Linux Admin certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire
Experience with Linux command line and Bash, and Perl
