Quality Assurance Manager
Quality Assurance Manager/Configuration Management Specialist, Senior – Fort Belvoir, VA
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active TOP SECRET/SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7 years’ experience with rational, relational database, SQL, and ETL
- Expert in testing web applications and web services
- Experience in testing frameworks such as React, Sencha, and others
- Experience in PostgreSQL database and configuration management
CERTIFICATIONS:
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and compliance upon hire
- Baseline Certifications – CCNA Security, Security+ CE or equivalent
JOB DUTIES:
- Design test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Test software/system modifications to prepare for implementation
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and project managers
- Create and/or maintain databases of known test defects, issues, or concerns
- Plan test schedules or strategies IAW project scope or delivery dates
- Participate in product design reviews, provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
- Write and review SOPs, process documents, CONOPS, and other technical documents
- Understand business workflow, configuration, monitor and evaluate testing results against predetermined objectives, and apply recommended actions for improvements, create test data, test estimates, performance testing, and coordinate and conduct readiness meetings
- Work all phases in software development life cycle with experience in different methodologies (i.e., agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.) with emphasis on agile
- Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations
