Cyber Operation Research/Data Scientist, Intermediate – Fort Belvoir, VA

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active TOP SECRET/SCI
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics, statistics, computer science/engineering, or related technical field
• 10 years’ experience Python, Java, C/C++, R, and SQL
• 10 years’ experience with SQL Database, Postgres SQL
• 8 years’ experience with Hadoop or Apache Spark
• 8 years’ experience with machine learning and AI data visualization and communication, statistics, multi-variable calculus and linear algebra, data wrangling, software engineering, data intuition, programming skills, and unstructured data
• Experience applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to domain specific applications, such as natural language processing, remote-sensing and geo-spatial intelligence, social computing, time series prediction, and computer vision
• Experience with deep learning tools (e.g., TensorFlow, Caffe)
• 5 years’ experience with Tableau; managing and merging data sources; statistical analysis; data mining algorithms; data multi-INT analytics, Machine Learning, and automated predictive analysis

CERTIFICATIONS:

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and compliance upon hire
• Baseline Certifications – CCNA Security, Security+ CE, or equivalent

JOB DUTIES:

• Conduct high-level analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the data, based on domain expertise and mission requirements
• Conduct online data experiments
• Develop personalized data products and processes
• Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis and utilize scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions
• Proactively retrieve information from various sources, analyze it for better understanding about the data set, and build AI tools that automate certain processes
• Create various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems
• Perform statistical analysis, apply data mining techniques, and built high quality prediction systems
